Candle warmer guide
How to use a candle warmer
Charge or plug in the warmer, place a jar candle under the shade, adjust the height so the jar clears the rim, set the timer and dimmer, and let the top layer melt into a full pool. Turn it off when you are done.
Setup
Plug the warmer into a standard outlet and put it on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Place a jar candle under the shade, then adjust the height until the jar clears the rim and the bulb sits above the wax. Check that the unit is not touching the jar.
The first melt
Turn it on and let the top layer melt across the jar. A full pool usually takes 20-45 minutes depending on the wax, the jar, and the warmer. Do not rush it with the dimmer at maximum if the instructions warn against it. Once the pool reaches the edge, the candle is behaving the way it should.
Timer, dimmer, and cleanup
Use the timer so the warmer turns itself off. The dimmer changes the heat and the glow; lower settings are gentler on the wax. When you are done, turn it off and let it cool before moving it. If wax gets on the unit, let it cool completely and follow the cleaning instructions.
