Candle warmer guide

Candle warmer timer not working

Short answer

Check the outlet, the bulb, and the timer mode first. If the lamp lights but the timer never turns it off, the timer circuit or button may be faulty. Stop using it and contact the seller if it is under warranty.

Basic checks

Confirm the outlet works with another device. Check that the bulb is seated and the unit is in timer mode, not manual mode. Some models require you to press the timer button until the desired number of hours lights up. If the display is blank, the unit may not be receiving power.

If the lamp works but the timer does not

A lamp that stays on past the set time is a safety issue. Unplug it and stop using it. Do not open the housing or bypass the timer. If the unit is under warranty, contact the seller with the order number and a short video of the behavior.

When to stop

Stop using the warmer if you see a damaged cord, a cracked socket, a burning smell, or a shade that gets hotter than usual. Those are not timer problems, and they are not user-serviceable.

FAQ

Can I reset the timer?

Try unplugging the unit for a minute and following the instructions. If it still does not work, stop using it.

Is it safe to leave it on?

No. If the timer fails, unplug it. Do not rely on a faulty timer.

Will a new bulb fix it?

Only if the bulb is the problem. If the lamp lights but the timer does not, a new bulb will not fix the timer circuit.
